5 L Air Vessel with Automatic Air Vent
The air vessel and automatic air vent are used for removing air from heating systems. The 5 L air vessel together with the automatic air vent (also known as an air purge valve) should be installed near the heating appliance (boiler, combi boiler, heat pump, etc.) or at the highest points of the installation. Installation must be carried out in a way that prevents air bubbles from being trapped within the system.
Before commissioning, turn the polypropylene cap on the vent 2 to 3 turns. In the event of uncontrolled leakage, tighten the cap. For ease of service and replacement, the use of a backflow preventer is always recommended.
The 1/2" automatic air vent is equipped with a shut-off (check valve) function, which prevents ambient air from entering the heating system.
